Review: The Laundromat by Ronnie F Strong

4 Stars

The Laundromat is the story of Petra, in her own words. Petra is an attractive middle-aged woman who feels uncertain about herself and relationships since her husband’s departure from their marriage a year earlier. She struggles with her strong sexual desire and has struck up a steamy on line relationship to help satisfy her urges.

Paul, her on line lover, asks Petra to meet him for the first time at an unlikely venue, a laundromat. He tells her how to dress and conduct herself. Although a little troubled at her compliance she happily meets all of his demands. Petra wonders what might happen but has decided that she wants to have sex with Paul at the first opportunity.

She decides to make the most of the unusual situation she finds herself in and is only a little surprised by how erotically charged and desirous she becomes. She is then introduced to an adults-only playground for the pursuit of every kind of consensual sexual pleasure and practice. Petra realises her inhibitions are unhelpful and goes about exploring her desires and feelings. During the course of her subsequent adventures she realises she has a wonderful capacity for willingly submitting to the pursuit of pleasure.

She finds she can appreciate and enjoy different ways of achieving sexual expression and pleasure. She develops a particularly strong attraction with some other people she meets. Petra finds the young and attractive Tessa very exciting and engaging. She also has a particular fondness for Paul. Despite having these strong attachments Petra realises she will not be satisfied with having only one lover. She finds her experiences deeply satisfying and rewarding, although sometimes challenging. She reaches a new acceptance of herself through her widely divergent experiences. She treats these as an opportunity to better understand her intimate feelings and relationships, even those she finds more confronting.

Petra uncovers an ability to experience extraordinary states of sexual fulfilment. Her experiences reveal her capacity to be blissfully transported on ecstatic journeys to the very edge of creation. She gains new insights into her feelings from this other realm of being which exists outside her ordinary awareness and perceptions. Petra develops a deeper understanding of life’s lessons, and what she gets and wants out of her closest relationships and sexual experiences.

The Laundromat was gifted to me by author Ronnie F Strong for an honest review.

From the very start you are thrown into Petra who is a single mother to 3 teenage boys whose husband left her a year ago. She has being sexually awakened by Paul, a man she has being talking to texting with over the Internet on a dating website. When they decide to meet in person Paul instructs her what to wear and where to go which she finds hot and frankly so do I. Paul is dominant and likes to be in control and this is where he tells her to go to a laundromat not far from place. There she meets a lovely young girl named Tessa and she finds out its actually a sex club with a variety of rooms for everyone's different pleasures.

Here the story goes on how Petra finds what she likes which is a whole lot of things in a variety of different ways. I love reading about a woman who is proud of her sexuality and acts on it. She doesn't shove it in peoples faces acts professional and motherly when needed but also looks after her self and her needs.

This book in its approach is a little different to what I normally read and I read a lot of smut, sexy books whatever you want to call them and I really enjoyed it. The characters are hot and the sex holy shit is off the charts.

I highly recommend this book if your into a bit of kink and not a sex snob who likes to read bout other peoples prerogative you might even learn a thing or to :). Thank you Mr Strong for giving me this opportunity and I would happily purchase more of your books.

People who read The Laundromat say they will never be able go past a laundromat again without wondering what might be going on inside.

COVER REVEAL: Always You by Missy Johnson

RELEASE DATE: DECEMBER 2013

I was thrilled when I was offered a graduate teaching position at the prestigious Tennerson Girls Academy. At twenty-three, this would be my first 'real' teaching assignment. Working at the elite boarding school, home to the daughters of some of the wealthiest people in the world, was a great opportunity that I would've been stupid to pass up.

One week into my new job, and I suddenly had no idea why I choose high school.....I was a seventeen year old boy once, I knew how teenage girls behaved.

You can't even imagine the hell of trying to reach thirty, hormonal driven seventeen year olds who have been cooped up, away from any male contact.

I could handle the whispers every time I entered the room. I could even handle the obvious attempts at gaining my attention. What I couldn't handle was her.

Rich bitches and way too many rules. Was it any wonder why I hated school?

Add to that the lack of male contact, and I was going insane. Like literally. I wasn't used to this. A year ago I was normal. I had a boyfriend, friends and a loving family. There is nothing normal about me anymore, and nobody here lets me forget that.

My name is Wrenn, and I'm only here because my aunt took me in after what happened, but my aunt also happens to be the headmistress of this academy...Can you see my problem?

I'm hated for my lack of money, and I'm hated for who my aunt is.

Then he arrived. Dalton Reed. My new history teacher.

Slowly, he helped me see that even in the worst situations, there is always hope.

Review:
What can I say but just WOW!! I've had these books on my TBR for a while just sitting on my kobo and I finally got around to it, I wish it didn't take me so long the book was awesome Miss Miller is awesome and god damn Ethan Blackstone one of my top book boyfriends for sure.

The chemistry is electric from there first meeting at the art gallery when Brynne looks up and locks eyes with the dominant Ethan Blackstone. Ethan's dominant side comes out when Brynne goes to leave the art showing of her pictures and insists on driving her home. God I love a dominant alpha male. The story continues with there relationship moving fast and hard the sex is hot and the writing is incredible the ups and downs and demons of both characters are heartbreaking and you really feel for them, and the ending a damn cliffhanger which I don't mind but lucky I read the book when all 3 were out so I didn't have to wait didn't expect that ending that's for sure.

Benny and Gabby secondary characters also Brynne's best friends and Neil, Ethan's associate at his security firm and best friend are great characters who pull the story together.

A 5 star read for sure if you love alphas and a story to back it up this book is for you!!!!

“Say what?” I cried, frustrated. “Say the words I have to hear. Say the truth and I’ll let you come.” He speared into me slower and nipped at my bare shoulder with his teeth.
“What is the truth?” I was starting to sob now, completely at his mercy.
“The truth is,” he grunted the rest on three, hard, punctuating thrusts, “You. Are. Mine!” I inhaled on a cry at the final thrust. He sped up again, fucking faster. “Say it!” he growled.
“I’m yours!”
